Joanna Smythe is a multidisciplinary artist living in Central British Columbia. Her work frequently examines our romanticized and constructed relationship with nature.

Smythe holds a MFA from Emily Carr University of Art and Design as well as a joint BFA in Creative Writing and Visual Arts from Emily Carr University of Art and Design and the University of Northern British Columbia.
